Today I wouldn’t have realized that it was Valentine’s Day if I didn’t use the internet.. Well, except for when I went into Tim Hortons today, everything was pink and they were selling heart shaped donuts.

Earlier I went all the way to my school to find out that the class I enrolled in was cancelled, so I had to choose another class to take. Management Innovation and Data Management are the classes I’m in.. Apparently I have the same teacher for both classes, and she’s “interesting.” Oh joy. Now my both of my classes start next week.

There are a few movies coming out this month that I’m excited to see. I’m always skeptical about movies these days because 95% of them really suck. But the movie I’m most excited about this month is Goon. What hockey fan wouldn’t be?! I mean, Jay Baruchel and movies go together like peanut butter and jelly.

I also really want to see This Means War and that one with Amanda Seyfried in it. I really should find out what that one is called.

On another note, MONDAY NIGHT TV IS SO INTENSE! Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl always have me on the edge of my seat, and I can’t wait until next week. I also really like Hart of Dixie. That show is really cute.

I LOVE HOCKEY

If you read anything I ever post on the internet, then you probably know that I absolutely love hockey. This week I got to meet one of the greatest legends in the game, Mr. Hockey himself! If you don’t know who that is, I’m talking about Gordie Howe! He’s was super nice and funny.

Also, one of my favourite players (Sam Gagner) on my favourite team (Edmonton Oilers) got 8 points in one game! He got all three stars of the game and tied a record that Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey hold. I was so amazed and excited. And two days later (today) he got 3 more points in a 4-4 game. He then scored in the shootout! This is a really exciting time! Haha.

My days haven’t been very eventful, therefore lack of blog posts. Anyway, I’ve had a ton of things on my mind for the past few days, and the thing that keeps coming up most is the fact that people seem to enjoy telling me what they think I should do in my life. For the past week, I’ve had at least two different people a day tell me that I would enjoy something, or I have to do something, or that something isn’t “me.” Do you know how annoying it is to have people constantly tell you how much they THINK they know about you? I’m not a very predictable person. Not even to myself. I like spontaneity, and that’s how I live my life. Sure, there are things I do plan out, but when I’m trying to find something to do on a day that I don’t have things planned out, chances are you won’t be able to guess where I am. I could say that I want to do something, or I’m craving something at the time, but I probably won’t be fulfilling that want or craving right away. I tend to want to do a lot of things at once, so I basically do whatever is on my mind at the moment that I leave my house.

Hockey is on, and Teen Mom 2 is about to be on.. I hope everyone had a great day!

We’re at the top of the world

Yesterday was a very long day for me. I got up extra early to get ready for work. Even though I got up early, I left my house a bit late. I didn’t get to work late, I was early, but I didn’t leave early enough to get some breaky. But I did get to Tim Hortons and found some NHL Timcards! I got two different kinds.

Work wasn’t too busy, but I still had to extend my shift. So rather than getting off of work at 2, I got off at 5:30. I was really anxious because Connie was taking me to Phineas and Ferb’s Best Live Tour Ever! and I didn’t want to be late.

We did end up being late and missing the first half hour of the show. There was an intermission when we got there though, so I got to look around. There were Phineas hats, Perry mugs, plushies of various characters, t-shirts, etc. I didn’t purchase anything at first glance, so we just went and found our seats since the lights were turning off. It was a bit eerie being in the Coliseum when it wasn’t a game night. Call me a child, but I loved that show. It was really entertaining.

After the show ended, I did decide to buy one of the Perry cups. I was so excited about it, that it was kinda sad. I mean, I’m 20 years old. I should stop liking these kids shows. HA! What am I saying? I will probably always watch the Family Channel. Actually, maybe not. The newer shows they’re airing are starting to suck, haha. Anyway, I am going to place my Perry cup beside my Mike Wazowski cup that I got from Disney On Ice: Monsters Inc. a lot of years ago. I use that as a pen holder, and I have the same plans for my Perry cup, haha.

We were hungry after the show, so we decided to go to a diner called Lucy’s on Main Street. It was one of the most hipster places I’ve ever been to eat. It was a bit funny, because a couple of middle aged hipsters walked in. The food was good, and so was the beer I had. Well, it was decent. Haha. After we were done eating, we headed home and I passed out as soon as I hit my bed. I was so exhausted after my really long day. That’s why I’m writing this post today.

Speaking of today, it was uneventful. I just watched all of the NHL All-Star stuff that was on CBC today. Then I decided to start writing my Valentine cards. I still haven’t done it yet though, haha. I got Hello Kitty ones! After thinking about everything I wrote in this post, I realize that I really do need to grow up! Hahaha. Oh well.

Things don’t always go the way you want

I had to take my English exam this morning, and I’m really not sure how I felt about it. I didn’t find it difficult, but it wasn’t straightforward either. I guess I’ll just have to wait until my mark is submitted online. I’m hoping that I did decent. Obviously. I’m actually freaking out a little inside thinking that I completely bombed it. I hate that I didn’t feel like it was on an extreme end of difficulty. I mean, then I would be able to know for sure if I failed it or passed it.

Anyway, I ran some other errands today. Went to the salon, picked up some groceries, and made lunch for my sisters and I. I also wanted to take a nap since I had to get up really early for my exam, and barely slept last night. But that didn’t happen. I just waiting for the NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft to start. Of course a few minutes after it started, my mom wanted me to go somewhere with her. Turns out we were only going to my cousin’s house, so I only missed a few minutes of the draft. It’s always funny to watch, because hockey players are some of the goofiest people.

After the draft was over, my aunt, my cousin, and I headed to my cousin’s school to hear about some cruise line. It didn’t even begin, but my cousin and I left. We went to the drug store, and I picked up some eyeliner. It is the Annabelle Smudge Paint in the colour Tar to be exact. I’ve heard some good things about it, and I’m stoked to try it out for myself. I also picked up a couple eye brushes. They’re Rexal brand.

I slept in today. I didn’t feel good about it. Although I didn’t have anything planned for the day, I still feel like I should have woken up early. I ended up cooking and cleaning all day, haha. Oh, and watching hockey! First I watched most of the Montreal vs. Detroit game. The result of that game was a 7-2 win by Montreal. The second games I watched was Kelowna vs. Kamloops game. It was such an awesome game. Kelowna won 3-2 in a shootout. This weekend is the NHL All-Star weekend. Which mean no NHL games until the weekend is over.

I have an exam tomorrow, so I should go get some rest.

Darn It

I just realized that I missed an episode of Teen Mom 2 today! How sad. I know that I have a questionable taste in reality television, but at least I don’t watch Jersey Shore. That evens it out for me, I guess.

Today was a pretty uneventful day. My friend and I have been trying to win a contest for Phineas and Ferb Live. We were leading for most of the day, but now we’re losing I feel like I sound like a huge loser as I type out this entry. But oh well, I am who I am.

The Oilers we’re in town playing the Canucks. IT WAS A REALLY GOOD GAME THAT HAD ME HOLDING MT BREATH A FEW TIMES. I was so bummed out that we lost in the shootout.

Anyway, I’m typing this out on my phone and I hate it so I’m going to end it with informing you all that I’m going to watch Teen Mom 2 now.
